Crab pots killing endangered turtles in Queensland waters

On average, one turtle dies every day in Queensland waters from human activity. Six out of the seven species of turtle occur in Queensland, all species being threatened with extinction. Sea turtles have lived in our oceans for over 100 million years, since the time that dinosaurs walked the earth. We cannot afford to lose these majestic creatures.www.marineconservation.org.au
